Once upon a time, there was an email distribution list that was a healthy discussion of all matters related to saving Camp Glenburn. This was abrubtly ended due to allegations of personal attacks that were never proven or backed up with any sort of evidence. There is now some heightened suspicion of the motives of some alumni and I don't think it is a place where people feel open to the same level of discussion that once existed.

That's alright, Joanne Sparkes is getting a report together to send off to the Board meeting through a meeting with Pat Davis. I'm not sure of the liklihood of this succeeding, but I am optimistic that everything will work out as long as we stay on the high road and stick to the facts that we have been discussing. We still don't know when the next board meeting will be but by then I'm sure we will have copies of the final report and we will be in a better position to figure out what happens next.

On a better note, we are now the proud parents of campglenburn.com and campglenburn.ca and we will use this in whatever form we need to in order to work towards our goal. People should still be trying to get ahold of anyone they think will be willing to help out when needed. We are going to need lots of numbers and so do your part and find anyone you know that will help out.
